Who we are
The BCFFF has been working on fisheries conservation and quality angling issues on behalf of BC anglers and citizens since 1973.
We’re a passionate community united by a shared love for the art and sport of fly fishing in our beautiful province of British Columbia. Committed to the preservation and promotion of fly fishing as a sustainable and environmentally conscious angling practice, our federation serves as a hub for anglers, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Through education, advocacy, and camaraderie, we strive to enhance the fly fishing experience, protect our pristine watersheds, and foster a sense of stewardship for the diverse ecosystems that make British Columbia a haven for fly anglers. Mission, Vision and Values
We are a federation of individual anglers and fly-fishing clubs. We advocate cooperatively with governments and other organizations throughout British Columbia for the sustainability of fish, their habitats, and quality angling. Our Vision is to ensure a future that sustains accessible, quality angling in British Columbia. We believe that fly-fishing increases personal well being and knowledge, encourages appreciation of our environment, and instills a commitment to achieving positive conservation outcomes.
